Children:

Children are always welcome. However, if your children are restless, you may use the Cry Room (Room 201) during the 11:00am service. A nursery is available for both services on the second floor (Room 208). You and your children may also enjoy the service from Sacred Grounds on the lower level during either service (Room 110).

Youth Fellowship:

The Youth Fellowship program at Evangel United Methodist Church is open to youth grades 6 – 12.  The YF meets weekly at 5:30 during the school year.  The first Sunday of each month is “Snack Supper Meeting” where a small supper is supplied for youth by groups in the church.  Some of the special activities and missions of the Youth Fellowship include summer fellowship trips, mission trips, Sr. Citizen Prom, Pumpkin Patch and Easter Carnival, Christ-n-bowl, movie nights, local mission work, holiday parties, card ministries, and special theme meetings.  During the summer months June through August, the YF does not meet weekly but has monthly special activities such as Worlds of Fun outing, barbeques at the lake, swim parties, movie nights, and other special gatherings.

Campus Life:

Campus Life is an organization and Sunday School class for college students.  The group is in the beginning stages.  It is designed to be a support group for college students.  The group is working to make an internet connection where they can communicate ideas, beliefs, get help, and support one another during the transition years from youth to adult.  Their first activity was a spring break ski trip.  The group hopes to be involved in mission trips and activities that continue to help them grow spiritually.

Today’s Tomorrows:

A group of kindergarten through second grade children from the Holton community. They sing once a month at Life Journey and Traditional worship services, as well as other churches in the area. They rehearse on Wednesdays during the school year from 3:30-5:00pm. In addition to singing the children engage in Christian education and crafts. The children are transported by Evangel’s bus from Colorado School to the church.
