Kent began his pastoral ministry in the United Methodist Church in 1982. He has served in the following appointments in the Kansas area: Coffeyville: First, Strong City-Elmdale, Fort Scott: St. John's-Hammond-West Liberty, Topeka: Oakland, Newton: Salem and Caney. Kent has served at Evangel since July of 2007
Kent completed his Masters of Divinity at Saint Paul School of Theology in 1992. Prior to attending Saint Paul, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Emporia State University in 1989. Kent completed his Clinical Pastoral Education at Osawatomie State Hospital.
Kent is a Kansas native, born in Wichita on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1961. He is married to Dedra Rogers; they are a blended family with five children (Heidi, Brendan, Dylan, Justin, and Lindy), two adorable grandchildren (Elijah and Maddie), and three dogs (Sir Vader, Princess Isabella and King Caesar).
Kent is physically active and enjoys exercising and weightlifting with Dedra. He is a "sports fanatic". He loves to play basketball, golf, softball, tennis and almost any kind of "sports spectation".

Sarah is the Minister of Administration at Evangel. She is a member of Fairlawn Nazarene Church in Topeka. She previously belonged to the McLouth Church of the Nazarene where she served at various times as youth leader, youth bible quiz coach, and Midweek Lift and Children’s Church coordinator. She has a passion for people and loves to see them transformed by the power and love of the risen Savior!
Sarah shares her life with her husband and best friend Jeff, and their four children Savhannah, Madie, Braylon, and Gracie. They enjoy spending time together gardening and playing outside, fishing, cheering for their favorite sports teams, and remodeling their home.
Sarah completed her Master of Science in the Administration of Justice and Security in 2009. Her Bachelor of Science is from Washburn University in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She has worked in the fields of probation, domestic violence, and education, as well as owning and operating her own business. She enjoys watching God move among His people and delights in the opportunity to serve Him wherever He calls her to be!

Jill Crouch serves as Evangel’s Christian Education Minister. Jill grew up at Evangel where she met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through Sunday School, pastoral teaching, Youth Fellowship and amazing Christian people. Jill graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in public relations. She moved to Topeka and began a career in marketing which included many fun years of work at an advertising agency, a funeral home company, and as a consultant for many other clients. Jill now resides in Holton where she and her husband own a marketing, printing and signage business, Marketing Concepts. She directs the Today’s Tomorrow after school program on Wednesdays at Evangel with her mom and many other wonderful community volunteers. Jill loves being able to use her marketing education and experience to market the best “product” ever – a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She longs to become a deeply committed Christian disciple and help others in their walk with the Lord. Jill lives in Holton with her husband, Rick, and two children. In addition to Jesus, she loves music, basketball, softball and spending time with her family.

Jeff & Sarah Draper,

Jeff and Sarah Draper serve as Youth Ministers for Evangel Youth Fellowship. Jeff is an officer/evidence technician with the Holton Police Department and is a certified field training officer. Jeff graduated from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center with class 177A in 2004. He has extensive training in gang violence and activity and holds numerous certifications in various disciplines. He is a graduate of Holton High School and has a degree in Construction Science and a degree in Criminal Justice. Jeff enjoys boating, fishing, and watching college football with his best friend, Sarah, and his family. He grew up attending First United Methodist Church of Holton and currently attends Fairlawn Nazarene. Jeff has a passion for music, believes in living life in its simplest form, and finds fulfillment in serving God, his country, and community. Sarah is Evangel’s Minister of Administration and her bio is above. Jeff and Sarah feel privileged to work with Evangel youth and are looking forward to worshiping at Evangel!

Patrick Grindol ,

Patrick has been involved in church music most of his life, singing in the youth and sanctuary choirs of Perry United Methodist Church of Perry, Kansas. He became a church organist at age 15. He served as organist and director of music of Crestview United Methodist Church of Topeka, Kansas for 25 years, where he administered a program of adult and youth choirs as well as starting a three-choir handbell program. As a pastor and musician Patrick has been involved in contemporary worship programs in Grand Island, Nebraska, Mound City and Yates Center, Kansas, as well as his current position as Evangel Church.
Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Washburn University of Topeka and his Master of Divinity degree from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. He studied piano with Vivian Cameron of Perry and James Rivers at Washburn. He studied organ with Georgia Stark of Perry, Marjorie Welter of Grantville, Kansas, and Robert Danes. He is also the piano accompanist for the music programs at Holton Public Schools. |

Santiago & Silvia Reveles, Custodians |
Silvia and Santiago Reveles are the new custodians at Evangel. Silvia and Santiago are employed at Johnsonville (Oldhams) in Holton. They reside with their children in Holton.
Silvia was raised in Michvacan, Mexico. Santiago was raised in Facatecas, Mexico. Prior to moving to the United States, they lived in Villaneuva, Mexico. They have been happily married for 31 years. They are the proud parents of six children. Their children are: Gladys, Hugo, Jiro, Liz, Silvia and Arturo. They have three grandchildren: Hector, Sebasdtian and Enoch. All of their family lives in the Holton area except for one son who lives in Topeka. Silvia and Santiago and their children became residents of the United States in 2002 and became “proud” American Citizens in 2007.
Santiago enjoys fishing, working on cars and working around the house. Silvia enjoys gardening and decorating their home. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends.
